The Role

We’re seeking a talented and versatile Full-Stack Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining BreatheHuman’s web applications and tools, working across the entire stack to create robust, scalable, and user-friendly solutions that bring our AI-powered insights to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BreatheHuman’s web applications, focusing on both front-end and back-end components
• Implement responsive and interactive front-end designs, working closely with our UI/UX team
• Build robust back-end systems to support our AI and data processing needs
• Integrate AI models and data visualization components into our web applications
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security
• Collaborate with AI researchers and data scientists to implement new features and improve existing ones
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to our technical documentation
• Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices
• Set up and manage development, staging, and production environments
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending improvements to our technology stack as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of full-stack development experience
• Strong proficiency in front-end technologies, including React, Vue.js, or Angular
• Expertise in back-end development using Node.js, Python, or similar technologies
• Experience with database systems, both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with AI or machine learning technologies
• Knowledge of data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js)
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker
• Experience with serverless architectures
• Understanding of DevOps practices and tools
• Contributions to open-source projects
• Experience with real-time data processing and WebSocket implementations
• Familiarity with GraphQL
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards and best practices
